Lake Check

Warm, shallow lake in Belcarra Regional Park known for the White Pine Beach day-use area. Extremely popular on summer weekends; the lot and overflow roadside parking fill early.

Est. lot capacity: ~180 vehicles. Main White Pine Beach lot plus overflow lots along 1st Ave / Bedwell Bay Rd. Metro Vancouver has historically closed access and turned cars away once full on peak summer days.

BC Hydro reservoir near Stave Falls with the Reservoir and Norrish Creek trailheads. Popular for swimming, fishing, and hiking; smaller and less crowded than Sasamat but still fills on hot weekends.

Est. lot capacity: ~60 vehicles. Small gravel lots at the Reservoir Rd and Sylvester Rd trailheads. No formal overflow parking — roadside shoulder parking is limited and sometimes restricted.

Large reservoir north of Mission with several rustic forest-service style access points for boat launching, camping, and swimming. Less regulated than the other two lakes; parking is informal.

Est. lot capacity: ~40 vehicles. Primary access via the Stave Lake Rd boat launch/day-use area. Parking is an unmarked gravel clearing — capacity is a rough estimate, not a managed lot.
